What I Bought...

I got myself some wonderful fabric from Bloomerie in a fab grey and yellow color scheme, with wondrous love birds on it, as well as a cheeky grey/white “egg” themed fabric.  What will I make of it you ask?  Why, throw pillows of course!!!

I also bought a KICK AZZ, mid century modern bedroom set from a lovely older couple, that had no idea what a great piece they had, so I was able to get a dresser w/ mirror and two nightstands for a mere $280!  I will post pics when it’s all set up in my new place, right now it’s in my current dining room waiting to be ushered away to its new home! 

Moving...

I am moving with my two lovely little boys from a bustling urban enclave off of Washington, DC to a small town in the Shenandoa Valley in Virginia.  I am making a career change as well as other changes in my life, big and small.  The town I'm moving to has lovely historic homes, 1930's cottages, 1940;'s bungalows... just a lovely community.  I will not be buying right now, but if things go well this might be my "forever home".  It's a great place to raise a family and I want to live somewhere safe and with good schools for my little ones.

But the most exciting part is.... REDECORATING!!
