Imitation, blah, blah, blah!

I fell in love with John & Sherry's (of YHL) bathroom mirror, so this weekend I finally snagged TWO for myself! They will not be going in my bathroom, but instead will be hanging above my nightstands.

With my new upholstered headboard (yes, it's done...more deets to come) the picture I had above my nightstand just looked dinky next to it. But I believe these mirrors will look fabu.

Okay, the original but expensive as hell version is from Restoration Hardware at $850

John & Sherry's is the allen + roth 30"H x 30"W Quatrefoil Cloche Octagon Framed Mirror from Lowes at $64.97.

Mine are steals from TARGET on sale for $18.99 a piece, SCORE!!!! They are exactly the same as the Lowes ones.

While they painted their's white and it looks amazing, I think I'm going to leave it the color it is, since my walls are white and I think it would blend in too much. Should I paint them another color? Grey or silver perhaps?


Ooh, I almost forgot! While I was there I also picked up a sunburst mirror, initially I was buying it for above my headboard, but then I saw my dream mirror and had to buy them all!
